Some of you may or may not know about my other blog (and I don’t mean this one, either…) some of you may not even realize I have any blog other than Twitter, and even more of you may not have the slightest clue what I’m talking about. It’s ok, I’m confused, too.
I can’t do anything stress-free (or as close as anyone can come to it) unless everything else is in order without any loose-ends. This goes for relaxing at home (it won’t happen unless the house is tidy) hanging with friends (if I’ve got things to do elsewhere I don’t enjoy myself as much) and BLOGGING. Specifically, the ‘writing’ side of blogging… and oh, what a major task it has proven to get things going, again!
After 105 episodes of World of Warcast, 36 episodes of Push My Follow, and 40 episodes of Geekistry, plus dozens of appearances on other shows, Mike talks about his favorite creative geek hobby: Podcasting.
After a few formalities (Facebook, the Lisa Simpson vs. Chelsea Clinton’s wedding Twitter trend, and a Warcast update) we talked about early internet information-sharing (Usenet, Gopher, The Well), blogging past and present, and the future of blogging: writing with purpose.

Lots of geek news – Gamers were excited about today’s launch of Starcraft 2, but weren’t as sure about the announcement by Sony that Everquest II is now FTP. Also, “The Guild” has a new season and music video “Game On”. Geekistry’s biggest discussion was about the EFF, legalizing “jailbreaking”, Apple’s response, and what we think.
After a few random formalities about the white iPhone 4 (and the top 10 reasons you don’t need it) and other bits, we discuss random . Is random really random and what do chaos, infinity, entropy, and lava lamps have to do with it?
Why not have a completely random and unplanned show? That’s exactly what episode 35 turned out to be: Without show notes we talked about random topics from Tron, video game nostalgia, social media hype, road trips, iPhone apps… and even the meaning of life.
