We’re Meant to be a Part of Each Other

I believe that everyone I meet in my life is supposed to be a part of my life. I believe that [our] “lifepaths” cross for a reason.

So, yes – you are sharing in this part of my journey, and I hope you will for a long time to come.

We all need each other for different reasons. Sometimes the reasons are obvious and apparent, but sometimes they are elusive. Sometimes the reasons take a long time to become recognizable, and sometimes the reasons are blatantly obvious in the beginning.

“An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, or circumstance.
The thread may stretch or tangle,
but it will never break.”
- an ancient Chinese belief

Our journeys [together] as friends, lovers, neighbors, and even passers-by, can’t be foreseen, foretold, planned or categorized before our “lifepaths” cross:

They just happen because they are meant to – WE are meant to be a part of each other.

“The Water is Wide”

The water is wide, I can’t cross over
and neither I have wings to fly
give me a boat that can carry two
and both shall row – my love and I

Now love is gentle, and love is kind
the sweetest flower when first it’s new
but love grows old, and waxes cold
and fades away like morning dew

There is a ship, she sails the sea
she’s loaded deep as deep can be
but not as deep as the love I’m in
I know not how I sink or swim

The water is wide, I can’t cross over
and neither I have wings to fly
give me a boat that can carry two
and both shall row – my love and I
and both shall row – my love and I
