My Wordless Wednesday Birthday Gift

The Kidlet was excited to give me his little gift this morning. More than anything else, he was proud of the care he took wrapping it. He spent at least 5 solid minutes describing the method he used to cut and wrap the paper and use the scissors to curl the ribbon.
I think it’s the most beautifully wrapped gift I’ve ever gotten – because it’s from him.
The Kidlet made today, my 32nd birthday, happy.
More Wordless Wednesday here.

Happy birthday, that is a beautifully wrapped gift, but I bet the best gift was the happy proud face that gave it to you.

I think he did a great job wrapping! Happy Birthday! :) I loved getting gifts from my son when he was little, now I just love getting phone calls, lol. ;)
Awesome! Did you manage to open the gift, or just admire the wrapping? :o)

Okay, seriously, he\’s WAY better at wrapping presents than I am! Had I wrapped it, you would have thought you were getting a baseball. Seriously. Hence I\’m a big fan of the drop it in a bag with tissue paper method of gift wrapping :)
But happy birthday!!!
I am uber impressed. I cannot wrap worth a dime!
But I love his handwriting on the card :) Precious!
Happy Birthday!
How sweet! It’s great that you had a wonderful day! :)

I didn’t want to open it because it was so wonderfully wrapped :) I finally did, though, and saved the ribbon.

Me, too. :) He has recently started writing in cursive, even though he hasn’t learned it (officially) in school. He’s managed to teach himself…
