the Mommy Sniffer

Ugh. You know when there’s a really stinky, putrid, horrible smell coming from your child’s room/clothing/car seat/lunch box/diaper, but you’re the only one who can smell it? Yeah, isn’t the Mommy Sniffer^TM one of those parts of Mommyhood that you just wish wasn’t bestowed upon you when you became The Mommy?

Trust me, folks, you don’t want me to tell you what I found in my son’s room that had been stewing there for days… but, I’ll just say, for the record, that I seemed to be the only one who could smell IT, even though IT was hiding for awhile (gaining more stench by the day) before I could find IT. IT was one of the most horrible things to have ever entered my kid’s realm of smelliness. I’m telling you, I almost threw up trying to clean it up (and I can usually handle ‘gross’ pretty easily)
